Methodology
The GoLaptopify MetaScore is a weighted aggregate of independent laptop critic reviews, normalized to a common 100-point scale.
GoLaptopify follows trusted laptop testing laboratories, hardware publications, and notebook review channels. A laptop review only becomes score evidence when it is model-specific and the publisher provides an explicit score.
Different publications use different rating scales. Every score is normalized to 0–100.

Each source has a quality weight. Specialist laptop benchmarking labs (such as NotebookCheck, RTINGS, PCMag, and Tom's Hardware) and major editorial outlets receive high weight, and the final score is calculated with a weighted average.
GoLaptopify checks sources regularly and recalculates scores as new laptop reviews are published. Model-specific publisher links are preferred over generic family pages, and useful scoreless articles are kept as extra context rather than converted into invented scores.
To cut through the noise of modern laptop SKU sprawl, GoLaptopify utilizes programmatic algorithms and Large Language Models (LLMs) to track street prices, analyze review sentiment, and monitor CPU/GPU generation lifecycles in real time.
While we use AI to synthesize daily news briefs and summarize the consensus of laptop reviews, all data is strictly grounded in verified tech journalism. Our system is explicitly prevented from hallucinating specifications, inventing benchmarks, or writing unverified claims.
